|Recommended: YesGreat Short Term Option for Families — As married students with children, my husband and I enjoy all Mesa Falls has to offer. Finding a home to rent in Rexburg can be difficult, but when we came across Mesa Falls 2 years ago we felt it had a lot to offer as an apartment to make up for not living in a house.
The rent is a little higher than most other apartments, however, it is worth it, especially if you have children. There is a park within a few minutes walking distance from whatever building you live in as well as a gym with child room so you can bring your little ones to work out. There is a basketball court to play in and get your energy out in the Winter months there is even an auxiliary cord so you can play music. It's also great in the summer on those days it may be too warm to run around outside because there are several large fans to cool off with.
The clubhouse has been great forward functions and other parties. It is so convenient to have a facility like that so close. There is also a kitchen in there which is a great plus for parties. The clubhouse leads out onto a covered patio area with a fireplace, fire pit, and BBQ's.
The only issue we've had was the first year we lived here in the Winter there was a leak in the master bedroom near the window which caused the carpet beneath to soak with water. However, when we notified maintenance about it they were quick to address the issue. The brought a large industrial fan and heater to help dry up the carpet so that there would be no mold. This is our 3rd winter here and we've had no problems since.
Mesa Falls has been a great place to live for our family. I would say for just a married couple it would be better to explore your options if you are wanting just a one bedroom. Our two bedroom is just enough space for our family.

The only picky thing that I could think of is I would like a little more cabinet space however I know that it's hard to have a ton in an apartment . — I would highly recommend it to them because of how well maintained it is and even though it does cost more than most other apartment complexes, you do get a lot of nice amenities clubhouse, cable, etc. with it.
|Recommended: YesGood, but Pricey — We moved here so we could have a pet, but it has ended up being a really good decision. The apartment has enough space to feel like home without being excessively large. Maintenance is always quick to respond, and the staff is very helpful. We really enjoy living here, the only drawback is the cost. But that isn't surprising, considering what you are paying for.
